Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the IRNA news agency, reports that the Chinese leader extended his sincere congratulations to his counterpart, the Iranian government, and its people on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
In the message, President Xi Jinping emphasized the strategic importance of diplomatic relations between Beijing and Tehran, highlighting the prospects for future bilateral cooperation. The Chinese leader expressed readiness to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership to benefit both nations and contribute to regional stability.
Iran celebrates the anniversary of the 1979 revolution every February with state-level events and ceremonies. Relations between China and Iran have strengthened significantly in recent years, particularly following the signing of a 25-year strategic cooperation agreement in 2021, which covers economic, security, and cultural sectors.
