Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin has stated that the resumption of the 'Russian House' center's operations in Azerbaijan would serve the interests of both nations.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Galuzin indicated that this matter is expected to be on the agenda during the upcoming visit of Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to Moscow.

The 'Russian House' (Rossotrudnichestvo) center in Baku had suspended its operations in February 2025. The potential reopening of such cultural and educational centers is often viewed as a diplomatic mechanism to strengthen bilateral humanitarian ties and soft power cooperation between Baku and Moscow. These centers typically facilitate educational exchanges, language programs, and cultural events aimed at fostering closer relations between the two countries.
