Rusiya İrana 51 tonluq humanitar yardımın son partiyasını verdi

The final batch of humanitarian aid sent by Russia to Iran has reached its destination, marking the completion of a significant relief mission.

The Russian Embassy in Tehran reported that the shipment was successfully delivered, according to the Operative Information Center-OMM. In a statement released via the diplomatic mission's Telegram channel, officials emphasized that the Russian people continue to support Iranians at both the state and private levels during challenging times.

The humanitarian cargo, totaling 51 tons, consisted primarily of sunflower oil and household chemicals. The aid was officially handed over to representatives of the Iranian Red Crescent Society in the border city of Astara on April 10. The supplies were organized and dispatched by the Nefis Fund, a prominent charitable organization based in Tatarstan, Russia.

This delivery highlights the ongoing humanitarian cooperation between Moscow and Tehran. Such initiatives are often part of broader bilateral efforts to strengthen ties and provide mutual support during regional economic shifts or natural disasters. The city of Astara, located on the border between Azerbaijan and Iran, serves as a vital transit hub for international cargo and humanitarian logistics within the North-South transport corridor.
