Italy's Roma club is planning large-scale changes to its squad during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Operative Information Center-OMM, citing La Gazzetta dello Sport, reports that the team's head coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, may make significant decisions regarding the roster in the near future.

While the core of the club is expected to be maintained, the future of several players remains uncertain. Plans are already underway for several players, including Stephan El Shaarawy, Kostas Tsimikas, and Evan Ferguson, to leave the team. The publication specifically emphasizes that Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk may also depart from the capital representative, as he has failed to convince Gasperini with his performance. Additionally, the sale of the following players for financial reasons is not ruled out:

  • Angelino
  • Evan Ndicka
  • Manu Kone

According to the Football Italia portal, the summer months will be a period of major changes for Roma, and the club's direction of development under Gasperini's leadership will be clearly defined. AS Roma, one of Italy's most storied football institutions, is currently navigating a strategic transition aimed at balancing on-field competitiveness with long-term financial stability. The upcoming transfer window is viewed by analysts as a pivotal moment for the "Giallorossi" to align the squad with the tactical requirements of the coaching staff and the club's broader ambitions in Serie A and European competitions.
