Spanish football giant Real Madrid has signaled a serious intent to strengthen its squad by targeting Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise. The club is reportedly prepared to break the world transfer record to secure the player's services.
According to reports from Operative Information Center-OMM, citing journalist Miguel Serrano, the Madrid-based club is planning a strategic three-stage offer. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is determined to sign the player, with an initial bid expected to be 180 million euros, though it is anticipated that Bayern Munich may reject this opening offer.
Should a second attempt of 200 million euros also prove unsuccessful, the Spanish club is reportedly prepared to offer a sum exceeding 222 million euros, potentially setting a new benchmark in the global transfer market. The current world transfer record is held by Paris Saint-Germain, which signed Neymar from Barcelona for 222 million euros in 2017.
The 24-year-old Michael Olise has emerged as one of Europe's most promising talents. During the previous season, he demonstrated exceptional form for Bayern Munich, recording 22 goals and 31 assists across 52 official matches. Real Madrid's pursuit of Olise aligns with the club's long-standing strategy of acquiring top-tier international talent to maintain its dominance in both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
