There was no external interference involved in the crash of the Turkish Air Force C-130 military transport aircraft that went down in Georgia, according to official findings.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing TRT Haber, that the Ankara Prosecutor's Office has released an official statement regarding the investigation into the incident.

The report, prepared as part of the ongoing investigation into the C-130 military transport aircraft crash on Georgian territory, confirmed that no traces of explosives or signs of external intervention were found. Authorities noted that the comprehensive investigation into the technical causes of the crash is still underway.

On November 11, 2025, the Turkish military cargo plane took off from Ganja, Azerbaijan, before crashing in Georgia. The wreckage was discovered by local residents scattered across steep slopes near the Kholagiri Monastery. All 20 people on board the aircraft were killed in the accident. Their remains have since been recovered and repatriated to Turkey.

The C-130 Hercules is a versatile four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft used extensively by NATO members for tactical airlift missions. This incident marks one of the most significant aviation losses for the Turkish Air Force in recent years. Military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey remains a cornerstone of regional security, with frequent joint exercises and logistical operations conducted between the two brotherly nations.
