The “Rules for the management of airports” have been officially approved.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to formalize these new regulations.
Under the terms of the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to resolve all matters arising from this new regulatory framework, ensuring the efficient administration of civil aviation infrastructure across the country.
This initiative is part of a broader effort by the government of Azerbaijan to modernize the nation's transport sector and enhance the operational efficiency of its international and regional airports. By streamlining management protocols, the state aims to improve service standards, safety compliance, and infrastructure development in line with international civil aviation requirements.
