President Ilham Aliyev appoints new ambassadors to Switzerland and the Netherlands

Vagif Ismayil oglu Sadigov has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Swiss Confederation. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant decree to formalize this appointment.

In a separate decree issued by the head of state, Anar Keykavus oglu Ajamov has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

These diplomatic appointments are part of the ongoing efforts by the Republic of Azerbaijan to strengthen its bilateral relations and expand its diplomatic presence in Europe. Ambassadors serve as the primary representatives of the state, tasked with fostering political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and the host nations, ensuring the effective promotion of national interests on the international stage.
