The Trump route will not only connect two parts of Azerbaijan but will also become a highly reliable and secure major transportation corridor. It will connect Asia with Europe through the territory of Azerbaijan and Armenia, with the participation of other neighboring countries.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks during a joint press statement with US Vice President JD Vance. The head of state emphasized that the implementation of this project will significantly contribute to the overall strengthening of peace and stability in the region.
The proposed transport corridor, often discussed in the context of regional integration, aims to restore transit links and foster economic cooperation in the South Caucasus. By facilitating the movement of goods between East and West, the project is expected to transform Azerbaijan into a central logistics hub, enhancing the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor and providing landlocked nations with improved access to international markets.
