President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev concluded his working visit to the United Arab Emirates on February 5.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the head of state at the Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi. President Ilham Aliyev was seen off at the airport by Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, along with other high-ranking officials.
The visit reflects the deepening bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates, which have expanded significantly in recent years. Both nations have focused on strengthening cooperation in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy projects, as well as increasing trade turnover and mutual investment. This diplomatic mission in Abu Dhabi serves as a continuation of the high-level political dialogue between Baku and the UAE leadership, aimed at fostering regional economic integration and strategic partnership.
