Prezident İlham Əliyev: Azərbaycanın TDT-yə üzv ölkələrlə ticarət dövriyyəsi artır

Azerbaijan's trade turnover and mutual investment volume with the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) continue to demonstrate significant growth, according to official statements.

As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks while receiving participants of the meeting of heads of government and vice presidents of the OTS member states. The head of state emphasized that economic cooperation remains a cornerstone of the organization's collective agenda.

"In the economic field, which will be the main focus of your meeting, things are going well. As for Azerbaijan, our trade turnover with all member countries is increasing, and the volume of mutual investments is growing. We have invested more than $20 billion in the economies of the member countries of the organization. True, the main part of this is the investment made in Türkiye. However, the process of mutual investment with other member countries is also underway. Joint investment funds have been established with Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Many projects are already being implemented through these funds, or preparations are being made for their implementation," President Ilham Aliyev stated.

The Organization of Turkic States, established to promote comprehensive cooperation among Turkic-speaking nations, has increasingly focused on economic integration and regional connectivity. By leveraging joint investment funds and strategic partnerships, member states aim to enhance the Middle Corridor trade route and strengthen energy security across the region. This economic synergy is viewed as a vital component in ensuring the long-term stability and prosperity of the Turkic world, stretching from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean.
