Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Manet is scheduled to visit Baku in October to participate in the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that this was announced during a meeting between Elchin Amirbayov, the Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments, and the Cambodian Prime Minister during an official visit to Cambodia. During the discussions, Amirbayov delivered a formal invitation letter from President Ilham Aliyev to Hun Manet for the upcoming summit to be hosted in the capital of Azerbaijan.
The Cambodian Prime Minister accepted the invitation with pleasure and expressed his firm intention to participate in the high-level event. CICA is an international forum established to enhance cooperation and ensure peace, security, and stability across the Asian continent. Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the organization underscores its growing role as a diplomatic hub and its commitment to fostering regional dialogue and multilateral cooperation among member states.
