Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on May 18 to participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Georgian leader was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Minister of Healthcare Teymur Musayev and other high-ranking officials. The visit underscores the high level of diplomatic engagement between the two neighboring nations.
The World Urban Forum, established by the United Nations, is the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization. This 13th session serves as a critical platform for world leaders and experts to discuss urban development challenges and the implementation of the New Urban Agenda. Azerbaijan's hosting of such international events highlights its growing role as a regional hub for global policy discussions and strategic cooperation in the South Caucasus.
