Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has sent a congratulatory message to the leadership and people of Pakistan on the occasion of the country's 79th Independence Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Pezeshkian emphasized in his message that the relations between Iran and Pakistan are strategic in nature.
The Iranian leader noted that the interests of the two nations are deeply intertwined. President Pezeshkian stated that this reality necessitates the further deepening of cooperation and the strengthening of mutual ties between Tehran and Islamabad.
Furthermore, the President highlighted that Iran attaches special importance to consolidating relations with Pakistan, aiming to ensure regional stability and foster economic development. Both nations share a long border and have historically maintained diplomatic, cultural, and economic exchanges that are pivotal to the security architecture of South and Central Asia.
