The Kremlin has stated that the location and timing of the fourth round of Russia-US-Ukraine negotiations will be announced only after the parties reach the necessary agreements.
According to Report, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov shared this information during a briefing with journalists. Peskov noted that it is currently impossible to disclose specific dates for new consultations regarding the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
“We hope that the work will continue. Once the parties reach an agreement, we will inform you about the location and time of the next [talks],” Peskov stated, emphasizing that diplomatic channels remain open but require finalized logistics.
The potential for these high-level discussions comes amid a shifting geopolitical landscape following the inauguration of US President Donald Trump in January 2025. The international community is closely monitoring these developments, as the involvement of the United States is seen as a critical factor in mediating a sustainable resolution to the regional crisis. Previous rounds of talks have focused on security guarantees and humanitarian corridors, though a comprehensive peace framework has yet to be established.
