Iran and the United States remain far from signing a final peace agreement, although the parties have reached a consensus on the majority of discussed issues, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei highlighted these developments, noting that the negotiation process has been significantly complicated by frequent shifts in the stance of the United States. "It is true that agreement has been reached on most of the issues under discussion, but no one can claim that this means a ceasefire will be signed anytime soon," Baghaei emphasized.

The diplomatic relations between Washington and Tehran have historically been fraught with tension, particularly concerning regional security and nuclear programs. Observers note that the ongoing negotiations are closely watched globally, especially under the administration of US President Donald Trump, whose foreign policy decisions continue to shape the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East.
