Road renovation works have been successfully completed at three additional locations in the capital, Baku.
The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA) informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that measures to modernize road infrastructure and ensure the safe and comfortable movement of citizens are ongoing. The renovation projects were finalized over the past weekend.
The upgrades involved the renewal of asphalt pavement on the Circular Road (Baku Circular Road), Sanan Abdullayev Street (Baksol road), and Nazim Hikmet Street. The works were carried out efficiently during both day and night shifts. As a result of these improvements, smoother and safer traffic flow has been established for vehicles in these areas.
AAYDA continues to implement phased measures aimed at improving the capital's road infrastructure, enhancing the technical condition of roadways, and creating favorable conditions for all road users. These infrastructure projects are part of a broader, long-term strategy by the Republic of Azerbaijan to upgrade urban transport networks and reduce traffic congestion in Baku.
