Paşinyan: Azərbaycanla sülhdən imtina Ermənistan üçün ölümcül təhdiddir

Peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, signaling a definitive closure of the chapter of war, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during a live broadcast on his Facebook page.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the Prime Minister emphasized that any rejection of the current peace process would inevitably reopen the door to conflict. Pashinyan specifically identified political forces led by Robert Kocharyan, Karen Karapetyan, and Gagik Tsarukyan as pursuing a policy aimed at revising the peace agreements reached with Azerbaijan. "These forces are attempting to reopen that door, which undoubtedly poses a fatal threat to the security of the Republic of Armenia," Pashinyan stated.

The Prime Minister further warned that even under the most optimistic scenarios, revisiting the peace treaty would dismantle the entire framework achieved through the negotiation process. He noted that while theoretical improvements are possible, the more likely outcome of such revisions would be the total collapse of the existing agreements. This statement comes amid ongoing efforts to normalize relations in the South Caucasus, where Azerbaijan has consistently advocated for the recognition of territorial integrity and the establishment of lasting stability following the restoration of sovereignty over its internationally recognized territories, including Garabagh and East Zangazur.
