Newcastle United, competing in the English Premier League, has reportedly rejected a transfer bid from Arsenal for midfielder Bruno Guimarães.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal submitted an offer of 76 million euros for the 28-year-old Brazilian international. However, the Newcastle management declined the proposal, deeming it insufficient.
Sources indicate that Newcastle is seeking a transfer fee of at least 80 million euros to part ways with the player. The club's firm stance reflects Guimarães's significant value to their squad and the current competitive landscape of the Premier League transfer market.
