Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in Poland for a two-day official visit to discuss bilateral relations and regional security.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Armenian media, the visit aims to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations. During the trip, Pashinyan is scheduled to hold a high-level meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Following their discussions, the two leaders are expected to deliver joint statements to the press regarding the outcomes of their talks.
The official itinerary also includes meetings with Polish President Karol Nawrocki and the Marshal of the Senate, Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska. Furthermore, the Prime Minister will visit the Polish Institute of International Affairs, where he will engage in discussions with representatives from various Polish think tanks and analytical centers.
This visit comes at a time when Armenia is seeking to diversify its foreign policy and deepen its engagement with European Union member states. Poland, as a key player in Central Europe and a member of the Eastern Partnership program, has frequently expressed interest in fostering stability in the South Caucasus. These high-level talks in Warsaw are expected to cover a wide range of topics, including trade, energy security, and the ongoing peace process in the region involving Azerbaijan.
