Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced an intensification of military operations against Iran via his official account on the X social media platform.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the head of government met with the Defense Minister, the Chief of General Staff, and the head of Mossad, issuing specific instructions regarding the continuation of the military campaign.
In his statement, Netanyahu emphasized that Israeli forces are currently conducting strikes on central Tehran with increasing force:
"Yesterday, we neutralized dozens of leadership figures. Our forces are currently delivering crushing blows to the center of the Iranian capital, and this pressure will increase further in the coming days."
According to reports, the primary objective of the first phase of the operation, carried out by Israel and the United States, was the elimination of Iran's top political and military leadership. It is claimed that as a result of the strikes, several high-ranking officials, including the leadership of the IRGC and the Minister of Defense, have been killed.
The escalation follows a period of heightened regional tensions and direct military confrontations. Under the administration of US President Donald Trump, the United States has maintained a policy of maximum pressure and strategic cooperation with regional allies to address security challenges.
