NASA "Artemis 2" missiyasına hazırlaşır: Astronavtlar Aya uçur

NASA officials have announced that the Artemis 2 mission is targeted for launch on Wednesday, April 1. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the space agency stated that the launch window is scheduled to open at 23:24 GMT. In the event of technical delays or unfavorable conditions, the launch window remains flexible until April 6.

This mission marks the first crewed flight under NASA's ambitious Artemis program. The crew will travel aboard the Orion spacecraft; however, Artemis 2 will not enter lunar orbit. Instead, the spacecraft will follow a "figure-eight" trajectory around the Moon before returning to Earth. NASA official Lori Glaze noted that all flight and ground systems, as well as the crew, are fully prepared, with weather conditions being the primary factor that could potentially impact the schedule.

The Artemis program represents a major international effort to re-establish a human presence on the Moon for the first time since the Apollo missions ended in 1972. This upcoming mission follows the success of the uncrewed Artemis 1 flight in November 2022. It serves as a critical stepping stone for Artemis 3 and Artemis 4, which aim to land astronauts on the lunar surface and eventually establish a long-term base to facilitate future human exploration of Mars.
