US President Donald Trump has stated that Washington believes Mojtaba Khamenei, a key figure in Iran's leadership succession, is alive but has been severely injured.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the US President made these remarks during an interview with the New York Post, addressing ongoing speculation regarding the status of high-ranking Iranian officials.

"No one has heard from him. He has been very badly injured," President Donald Trump noted during the discussion. When asked whether Washington officially believes Khamenei is still alive, the President added: "We don't know. Probably yes, but he is in extremely bad shape."

The status of Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has been a subject of intense international scrutiny and intelligence monitoring. As a prominent figure within the Iranian political and security apparatus, his condition is seen as a critical factor in the future stability and power dynamics of the Islamic Republic. These comments from the White House come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East and ongoing efforts by the United States to monitor leadership transitions within the region.
