The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has accused the United Kingdom and France of direct participation in terrorist acts allegedly committed on Russian territory.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Zakharova stated during a briefing that Western capitals are attempting to evade responsibility, despite what she described as their undeniable role in the ongoing conflict.
The diplomat argued that decisions made by London and Paris to transfer military technologies to Ukraine have facilitated strikes against targets deep within Russia. "You in Paris, London, Berlin, and other capitals bear direct responsibility for participation in these terrorist acts," Zakharova asserted.
A significant point of contention highlighted in the statement involves the transfer of military technology. Reports indicate that the British side has provided the necessary technical data for the production of components for SCALP long-range missiles. This process is reportedly being carried out as part of plans to establish local production lines within Ukraine, in cooperation with France.
The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has frequently seen diplomatic friction between Moscow and Western nations. The United Kingdom and France have been among the primary suppliers of military aid to Kyiv, including advanced missile systems, which they maintain are intended for defensive purposes within Ukraine's internationally recognized borders.
