Gas supply will be temporarily suspended in parts of Mingachevir and the Barda district tomorrow, according to official sources. The interruption is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM to facilitate necessary maintenance and the integration of new subscribers into the existing gas distribution network.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by the "Azerigaz" Production Union of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) that the works in Mingachevir will affect 380 subscribers on Textile and A. Pushkin streets. In Barda, the suspension will impact 2,284 subscribers across several streets, including I. Gayibov, Nushaba, Vagif, Koroghlu, H. Aslanov, Sabir, and Ganja, as technicians connect a non-residential facility to the grid.
These infrastructure upgrades are part of Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to modernize regional utility networks and ensure stable energy distribution across the country. Azerigaz, the primary gas distributor in Azerbaijan, regularly conducts such technical maintenance to improve the efficiency of the domestic gas supply system and accommodate the growing number of residential and commercial consumers in regional centers like Mingachevir and Barda.
