The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA) has extended its deepest condolences to Pakistan following a tragic fire in the city of Karachi.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the ministry shared a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) account expressing profound sadness over the loss of innocent lives and the injuries sustained during the blaze at a local shopping center.
The Azerbaijani side conveyed its sincere sympathies to the families of the victims, as well as to the brotherly people and government of Pakistan, wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident.
Azerbaijan and Pakistan share a deep-rooted strategic partnership characterized by strong political, economic, and humanitarian ties. The two nations frequently demonstrate mutual support during times of national tragedy, reflecting a relationship built on shared values and historical cooperation.
