The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has extended its official congratulations to Ireland on the occasion of the country's National Day.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the ministry shared a special post on its official X social media account to mark the event.
"We convey our sincere congratulations and best wishes to the government and people of Ireland on the occasion of their National Day. Happy National Day!" the official statement read.
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Ireland were established in 1996. The two nations maintain cooperation within various international frameworks, including the United Nations and the Council of Europe. National Day celebrations, often associated with Saint Patrick's Day, serve as a significant occasion for countries to reaffirm bilateral ties and mutual respect through official diplomatic channels.
