A large-scale security operation targeting emerging organized crime networks has been conducted in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. According to an official statement from the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the operation was coordinated by the Organized Crime Division of the Ankara Provincial Security Directorate.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, law enforcement agencies executed simultaneous raids across multiple locations in the city. The coordinated effort aimed to dismantle criminal groups operating within the metropolitan area.
The investigation has resulted in warrants for 117 suspects believed to be linked to these criminal organizations. Of those identified, 78 individuals have been detained and are currently undergoing interrogation. Authorities have confirmed that search operations are ongoing to locate and apprehend the remaining suspects, with officials indicating that the scope of the investigation may expand further.
