"Mançester Siti" yeni transferlər üçün heyəti boşaldır: Niko Qonsales gedə bilər

Manchester City is preparing to make significant adjustments to its squad before the summer transfer window closes. According to reports from talkSPORT, as cited by the Operative Information Center-OMM, midfielder Nico Gonzalez could be set to depart the club.

The 24-year-old Spanish international has attracted strong interest from Newcastle United. The Magpies are reportedly considering Gonzalez as a primary candidate to bolster their midfield, particularly in light of the absences of Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes. Manchester City management is said to be open to a potential sale, with the club planning to reinvest the proceeds to finance new acquisitions. Among the "Cityzens'" reported transfer targets are Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez and Lille's Ayoub Bouaddi.

Despite the speculation, reports suggest that Gonzalez is not eager to leave the Etihad Stadium. The player is understood to be keen on remaining with Manchester City under the guidance of head coach Enzo Maresca. Manchester City acquired Gonzalez from Porto last summer for a reported fee of 60 million euros. Since joining the club, the midfielder has made 59 appearances and scored four goals.
