Antalyada meşə yanğını: Alov nəzarətə alındı

A forest fire broke out in a wooded area located in the Ulupinar neighborhood of Antalya, Turkey.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the fire, which started for reasons yet to be determined, posed a risk of spreading to surrounding areas. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene upon reports of the incident.

Firefighting crews arriving at the location promptly began efforts to contain the flames, with local residents also assisting by transporting water to support the suppression operations. The response effort involved 4 fire trucks, 2 water supply vehicles, 2 initial intervention units, and a technical team of 50 personnel.

Thanks to intensive measures, the fire was brought under control within a short period. Cooling operations are currently underway in the area to prevent any potential re-ignition. Antalya, a major tourism hub on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, frequently experiences such incidents during the summer months due to high temperatures and dry vegetation, necessitating constant vigilance from local authorities.
