Vedat Muriqi, the prolific forward currently representing Spanish club RCD Mallorca, is reportedly preparing to open a new chapter in his professional career.
According to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, as reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the 32-year-old striker has reached a preliminary agreement with the Istanbul-based club Fenerbahce. Negotiations between the parties have concluded positively, with the terms of the potential cooperation already finalized.
Sources indicate that the transfer is expected to cost Fenerbahce approximately 15 million euros. Muriqi, who has previously played in the Turkish Super Lig, is viewed as a significant reinforcement for the team's attacking line.
During the previous season, Muriqi made 37 appearances for Mallorca. The forward demonstrated impressive form, scoring 23 goals—including 5 from penalty kicks—and providing 1 assist. Notably, he finished second in the La Liga top scorers' list, trailing only Kylian Mbappe.
Fenerbahce, one of Turkey's most successful and historically significant football clubs, frequently looks to strengthen its squad with experienced international talent to compete for domestic titles and European honors. Muriqi's potential return to the Turkish league is seen as a major move in the current transfer window.
