Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a significant telephone conversation to discuss escalating regional developments.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the information was released via the official X account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan. During the call, the ministers evaluated the changing situation in the region and expressed serious concern regarding rising tensions.

Mohammad Ishaq Dar emphasized the urgent necessity of de-escalation. He noted that constructive dialogue and diplomacy remain the only effective means for resolving problems and promoting peace and stability in the region. The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close coordination on security matters affecting the broader Islamic world and neighboring territories.

This diplomatic engagement comes amid a period of heightened geopolitical volatility in the Middle East and South Asia. Turkey and Pakistan maintain a deep-rooted strategic partnership, frequently aligning their foreign policies on regional security, counter-terrorism, and economic cooperation. Such high-level consultations are a standard component of their bilateral efforts to mediate conflicts and foster a unified approach to regional challenges within international organizations.
