Qarabag FK is set to play its opening match of the 2026/2027 UEFA Europa League season today. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the team, led by head coach Gurban Gurbanov, will host Iceland's Vestri in Baku.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 20:00 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. The encounter will be officiated by Moldovan FIFA referee Roman Jitari.
The return leg between the two sides is scheduled for July 17. The winner of this tie will advance to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, where they will face the victor of the duel between Glentoran (Northern Ireland) and RFS (Latvia).
