The Israeli Ministry of Health has announced that 104 people were injured and hospitalized over the past 24 hours as a result of attacks launched by Iran.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing foreign media outlets, that medical facilities across the country have been placed on high alert to manage the influx of patients following the escalation.
According to Al Jazeera, the current figure does not include those injured in the most recent strikes on central Israel. In those specific incidents, fourteen people were wounded, including two children. The Ministry of Health further noted that since the intensification of the conflict on February 28, the total number of injured Israelis has reached 6,286, with 100 individuals currently remaining under hospital care.
The recent exchange of strikes marks a significant escalation in the long-standing regional confrontation between Iran and Israel. This surge in hostilities follows months of heightened geopolitical friction, drawing concern from the international community regarding the potential for a wider regional conflict. Azerbaijan, maintaining its commitment to regional stability, continues to monitor the situation closely as diplomatic efforts persist to prevent further military escalation in the Middle East.
