US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran has acquired and utilized American-made Tomahawk cruise missiles.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing information published by the TWZ outlet, that the president raised concerns regarding the proliferation of these advanced weapon systems.

During a press conference, US President Donald Trump stated that Iran had obtained the Tomahawk cruise missiles from unidentified parties. He further suggested the alarming possibility that such weaponry could be employed in potential strikes, specifically mentioning the risk to a girls' primary school. When questioned about the specifics of such an attack, the US President noted that while the use of American-made missiles is a possibility, he did not rule out direct involvement by the Iranian side.

US President Donald Trump characterized the Tomahawk as one of the world's most powerful weapons, noting its widespread use and the complexities surrounding its international sale and deployment. However, analysts at TWZ have countered these claims, asserting that there is currently no evidence to suggest that Tomahawk missiles are present in Iran's military arsenal.

The Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) is a long-range, all-weather, jet-powered, subsonic cruise missile primarily used by the United States Navy and the Royal Navy. Known for its precision and ability to fly at low altitudes to evade radar, the missile has been a cornerstone of US conventional strike capabilities since the 1980s. The unauthorized transfer of such technology is strictly monitored under international arms control regimes and US export laws to prevent advanced military hardware from reaching adversarial nations.
