İran münaqişəsi Avropaya yeni miqrant axınına səbəb olacaqmı?

The European Union is increasingly concerned that the escalating conflict between US President Donald Trump's administration, Israel, and Iran could trigger a massive new wave of migration toward Europe.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the EU leadership is wary of the potential for regional instability in the Middle East to result in a surge of displaced persons seeking refuge in European countries.

According to official reports, EU member state ambassadors and foreign ministers held closed-door discussions on March 1 regarding the conflict involving Iran. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also convened an emergency meeting with her team to coordinate response measures to the evolving situation in the region. The discussions focused on both the potential increase in migrant numbers and the logistical challenges of providing humanitarian assistance under such circumstances.

The Middle East remains a critical focal point for European security and migration policy. Historically, major escalations in the region have led to significant humanitarian crises, prompting the EU to strengthen its border management and diplomatic efforts. As tensions rise involving major global powers, Brussels aims to implement preemptive strategies to manage border security while addressing the root causes of displacement in the Republic of Azerbaijan's neighboring regions and beyond.
