İran XİN: Həqiqi sülh təhqir və hədə-qorxu üzərində qurulmur

Genuine peace is not built on insults, intimidation, and coercion, stated Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the deputy minister shared these views on his X social media account. Gharibabadi noted that parties directly involved in wars, blockades, sanctions, and threats of force often reject Iran's positions, adding that the fundamental problem is the attempt to impose political will through pressure rather than seeking true peace.

"Iran emphasizes clear principles: a permanent end to war and prevention of its recurrence, compensation for damages, lifting of blockades, removal of illegal sanctions, and respect for Iran's rights. These are not maximalist demands. This is the minimum for any serious, sustainable agreement in accordance with the UN Charter to end a crisis started by the illegal use of force," he stated. The deputy minister further emphasized that it is impossible to speak of a ceasefire while maintaining a blockade, describing such actions as a continuation of the policy of coercion under the guise of diplomatic rhetoric.

These remarks reflect Iran's long-standing diplomatic position regarding international sanctions and regional conflicts. Tehran continues to advocate for a framework based on mutual respect and the lifting of economic restrictions, which it views as essential for regional stability. The invocation of the UN Charter serves to frame Iran's demands within the context of international law as it navigates complex relations with global powers.
