Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Middle Eastern media outlets, citing Abdullah Al-Raji, the official spokesperson for the Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation, confirmed the strike. "The target of the attack was the fuel tanks, which caused a large-scale fire at the scene. No fatalities have been reported," the official stated.
In a simultaneous escalation, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported an attack on an oil tanker in the Persian Gulf, off the coast of Doha, Qatar. According to the agency, the vessel sustained damage to its port side hull, though the crew remained unharmed. Preliminary inspections indicate no oil leakage into the sea, and relevant authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation into both incidents.
