Bəqai: İranlılar Azərbaycanın dəstəyini xatırlayacaq

The Iranian people have expressed their gratitude to Azerbaijan for the solidarity shown during recent regional developments. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei shared this sentiment on his X social media account.

"The unparalleled solidarity demonstrated by Muslim countries and conscientious, justice-seeking people across the region and the world in support of the Iranian people's resistance against U.S.-Israeli aggression is deeply appreciated," the spokesperson stated in his post. Baghaei emphasized that Tehran values the diplomatic and moral support received from its neighbors and the international community during this period of heightened tension.

Baghaei further detailed the list of nations that have shown solidarity with Iran, noting that the Iranian people will remember those who stood against illegal warfare. "Iranians will remember those who expressed their solidarity and support for the resistance against illegal war, particularly in Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Türkiye, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Palestine, and several African countries, as well as Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Mexico, Cuba, Japan, France, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and even within the United States itself," he added.

This statement comes amid a complex geopolitical climate in the Middle East, where Azerbaijan has consistently maintained a balanced foreign policy, advocating for regional stability and the principles of international law. Relations between Baku and Tehran have seen a period of active diplomatic engagement recently, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and ensuring regional security. Azerbaijan's position remains focused on de-escalation and the promotion of peace within the framework of territorial integrity and sovereign rights.
