Ahead of the funeral ceremonies for Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Tehran has issued a stern warning to US President Donald Trump and Israel, cautioning against any military aggression.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing international media reports, the warning underscores rising regional tensions. Ali Abdullahi, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, stated that Iran is prepared to take decisive retaliatory measures should its adversaries attempt any hostile actions during this sensitive period.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reportedly died during the initial days of recent airstrikes. His funeral proceedings are scheduled to commence on July 4 in Tehran. Following additional ceremonies in the city of Qom and in Iraq, the process will conclude on July 9 with his burial in his birthplace, the city of Mashhad.
The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters serves as a critical command structure within the Iranian military, responsible for coordinating air defense and strategic operations. The issuance of such warnings during a period of national mourning is a standard diplomatic and military posture intended to deter potential opportunistic strikes by regional rivals.
