Iran has claimed the destruction of all United States military bases across the Middle East and is demanding the immediate withdrawal of American troops from the region.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Ibrahim Zulfagari, the spokesperson for the "Khatam al-Anbiya" Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, made these statements during a recent press briefing.
"Since all US bases in the region have been destroyed, American commanders and soldiers are fleeing and hiding in shelters outside the bases. We are searching for them and call on the residents of the region to report their hiding places, while also demanding the removal of US military personnel to ensure their own safety," Zulfagari stated during the briefing.
The "Khatam al-Anbiya" Central Headquarters serves as the highest operational command level within the Iranian military, responsible for coordinating between the regular army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Such rhetoric comes amid long-standing geopolitical tensions between Tehran and Washington regarding military presence in the Persian Gulf and surrounding territories. Historically, Iran has consistently called for the exit of foreign forces from the Middle East, viewing the presence of US President Donald Trump's administration's forces as a primary source of regional instability.
