Elon Musk, the head of the X platform and founder of xAI, has announced that Grok 4.20, the latest version of the Grok artificial intelligence system, will be released within this week.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the new update is considered a "significant internal improvement" compared to the current 4.1 version.
While detailed information regarding specific technical changes has not yet been provided, experts anticipate the following enhancements:
- Increased accuracy of responses;
- Higher system processing speeds;
- Expansion of the model's functional capabilities.
Grok is being developed as a competitor to other major artificial intelligence models and is integrated into the X social network. This model is distinguished by its unique "sense of humor" and direct real-time access to data on the social network. Currently, the system possesses functions such as answering questions, writing code, creating images, and analyzing social media trends.
It should be noted that xAI, founded by Musk in 2023, aims to accelerate human scientific discovery. Recently, it was revealed that SpaceX has also integrated a special modification of the Grok model, named "Spok", into its internal processes. This indicates the growing role of xAI technologies within Musk's ecosystem of companies, which includes Tesla and Neuralink, further positioning the firm as a major player in the global AI race alongside OpenAI and Google.
