On March 12, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Zeljka Cvijanovic, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the conversation, the sides recalled previous meetings between President Ilham Aliyev and Zeljka Cvijanovic with satisfaction. They noted the expansion of bilateral relations between the two nations and discussed prospects for cooperation across various sectors. Zeljka Cvijanovic highlighted her participation in the Global Baku Forum on several occasions, emphasizing its role as a significant international platform.

The meeting also touched upon the importance of the 13th Global Baku Forum, noting the high level of its organization. It was emphasized that, as in previous years, the Forum continues to address highly relevant global issues, particularly in the context of the current international situation. The leaders underscored that such dialogues are essential for fostering mutual understanding and addressing shared challenges in the modern geopolitical landscape.

The Global Baku Forum, organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, has become a premier regional event attracting heads of state, Nobel laureates, and international experts. Azerbaijan continues to strengthen its diplomatic ties with Balkan nations, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, through high-level political dialogue and economic cooperation initiatives aimed at regional stability and development.
