The Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, has called on conflicting parties in the Middle East to engage in dialogue and reach a peaceful resolution.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the religious leader made these remarks to journalists following the Eid al-Fitr prayers held at the Taza Pir Mosque in Baku today. Pashazade emphasized that while a resolution is inevitable, the delay only increases human suffering.

"Sooner or later, they will come to an agreement, but until then, people will continue to suffer. Therefore, my call is for them to reach an agreement as soon as possible," the Sheikh-ul-Islam stated, highlighting the humanitarian urgency of the situation.

The Taza Pir Mosque, where the statement was made, serves as a significant spiritual center in Azerbaijan and is the seat of the Caucasus Muslims Board. Azerbaijan, known for its commitment to multiculturalism and interfaith dialogue, frequently hosts international forums aimed at promoting peace and religious tolerance. The CMB chairman's appeal aligns with the official position of Azerbaijan, which consistently advocates for the resolution of international conflicts through diplomatic means and the principles of international law.
