President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on the conferment of high special ranks to a group of senior officials of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that under the relevant Order, several officials of the agency were presented with high special ranks carrying high state status.
New rank for State Tax Service head Orkhan Nazarli
According to the Order, the head of the State Tax Service, Orkhan Faiq oglu Nazarli, was awarded the high special rank of "State Tax Service Advisor of the 2nd Class." This rank serves as an indicator of the high-level evaluation of service activities within the agency.
Awards for other senior officials
Furthermore, for their long-term and effective activities within the tax system, the following employees were awarded the rank of "State Tax Service Advisor of the 3rd Class":
Nijat Shukur oglu Imanov — Head of the Main Department of Tax Policy;
Abbas Jalil oglu Ismayilov — Head of the Main Department of Tax Audit;
Samad Adil oglu Valiyev — Head of the Territorial Tax Department No. 2.
The decision of the head of state is regarded as a continuation of steps taken toward improving tax policy in Azerbaijan, increasing transparency, and stimulating the human resource potential of tax authorities.
