Despite the implementation of a ceasefire, the Gaza Strip continues to record new casualties resulting from Israeli military strikes. Over the past 24 hours, one person has been killed and seven others have been injured in the region.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 1,260, with 4,154 individuals injured since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10, 2025.
The Ministry of Health reported that fatalities and injuries have persisted even after the ceasefire was enacted. Authorities noted that many individuals remain trapped under rubble in areas where rescue teams face significant challenges in accessing the sites.
Since the conflict began on October 7, 2023, the total number of deaths in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,389, with the number of injured reaching 174,266. These figures are based on the Palestinian Ministry of Health's report dated August 13.
The ongoing military operations have caused severe damage to residential areas and civilian infrastructure. The humanitarian situation remains critical, with limited access to those trapped under debris, exacerbating the crisis for the local population.
