The second BRICS Youth Festival is scheduled to take place in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, in the spring of 2027.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that international media outlets have confirmed the details regarding the upcoming event.
It has been noted that Belarus, as a partner country of BRICS, has officially supported the initiative to host the festival, with preparations now underway for the spring 2027 gathering in Minsk.
The inaugural BRICS Youth Festival was held in the autumn of 2025 in Kazan, Russia, bringing together 150 participants from 35 municipalities to foster international cooperation among youth leaders.
The concept for this international platform was first proposed by Ilsur Metshin in April 2024 during a meeting of the BRICS+ Cities Association held in Tehran. The festival aims to strengthen ties between the youth of member and partner nations, serving as a venue for cultural exchange and collaborative dialogue.
