President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Moscow for an official visit wearing a warm jacket gifted to him by Russian President Vladimir Putin in October 2022.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing RIA Novosti, that the UAE leader chose the specific attire for his arrival in the Russian capital. The press service of the UAE President confirmed that the jacket was a personal gift from Vladimir Putin during the Sheikh's first official visit to Russia two years ago.
The diplomatic gesture comes as the two nations continue to strengthen bilateral ties across various sectors, including energy and trade. Such personal exchanges between heads of state are often viewed in international diplomacy as symbols of close personal rapport and strengthening strategic partnerships between the Republic of Azerbaijan's regional partners and global powers.
