The second meeting of the heads of government and vice presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has concluded at the Gulustan Palace in Baku, Azerbaijan. The high-level gathering focused on deepening multilateral cooperation and strengthening regional integration among the Turkic-speaking nations.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov announced the adoption of a joint statement following the conclusion of the event. The meeting was attended by the heads of government of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Northern Cyprus, as well as the Vice President of Türkiye and the Secretary General of the OTS.

The discussions primarily centered on expanding economic relations and enhancing transport and logistics corridors, which are vital for the strategic connectivity of the Turkic world. This summit follows the inaugural meeting of the OTS heads of government, which took place on September 18 last year in Kyrgyzstan. The Organization of Turkic States serves as a comprehensive platform for cooperation in fields such as trade, energy, and culture, aiming to foster peace and stability across the Eurasian region while leveraging the shared heritage of its member nations.
