In accordance with the Partnership for Peace program for 2026 between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and NATO, a training course is being conducted in Baku by the Mobile Training Team of the NATO Allied Land Command.

According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Defense, the NATO Mobile Training Team delivered briefings to military personnel on topics including "NATO training planning" and "conducting training and selecting objectives according to NATO standards." Following the briefings, the participants engaged in both group and individual practical exercises.

The course, which involves students from the Military Administration Course of the Military Administration Institute under the National Defense University, aims to enhance the theoretical and practical knowledge of military personnel in line with modern requirements. It also focuses on teaching the application of contemporary technological solutions and instructing participants on NATO standards and procedures in this field.

The Partnership for Peace (PfP) program is a cornerstone of NATO's cooperation with partner countries, designed to build trust and interoperability between the alliance and non-member states. Azerbaijan has been an active participant in the PfP program since 1994, consistently contributing to international security efforts and aligning its military standards with those of the Alliance.

The training course is scheduled to continue until July 2.
